According to the Ministry of Digital Transformation: 120 open data-based services are currently in operation in Ukraine

There are 120 services operating in Ukraine that are based on open government data. This was reported by the Ministry of Digital Transformation, according to Ukrinform. According to the ministry, approximately 14 million Ukrainians use these services every month.

 

“If you know where to look for open data, it can be of significant benefit. Today, an average of 14 million Ukrainians use more than 120 services every month,” she said.

Users of open data include government agencies, various businesses, law enforcement officials, journalists, and anti-corruption activists.

Speaking about services for which open data forms the basis of the business model, Lyubava noted that the economic impact of open data amounts to 2 million UAH, while the total market volume is nearly 27 billion UAH.

According to her, despite the fact that Ukraine is at war, the open data sector continues to develop rapidly, indicating that the state is on the “right track” toward transparency, despite the challenges posed by the war.
