In downtown Lviv, two young men beat up a passerby and threatened him with a gun
On the evening of October 4, on Sholom Aleichem Street in Lviv, two men provoked a confrontation with passersby, after which they knocked a 31-year-old Lviv resident to the ground and beat him. The victim suffered bruises and contusions.
During the altercation, one of the attackers threatened people with an object resembling a pistol. After witnesses called the police, the men fled.
Law enforcement identified the attackers. They turned out to be 19- and 20-year-old residents of the Dnipropetrovsk region who are temporarily living in Lviv.

The older suspect has already been notified of his status as a suspect in a hooliganism case. The younger suspect, who threatened people with a weapon, attempted to go into hiding but was apprehended in Zakarpattia.
An object resembling an air gun was seized from him and sent for forensic examination. The decision is currently being made on whether to notify the detainee of suspicion under Part 4 of Article 296 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine.
