Ukraine could receive up to 10 billion cubic meters of gas annually — Zelenskyy
Ukraine expects to receive approximately 10 billion cubic meters of gas per year thanks to the development of the Vertical Gas Corridor.
President Volodymyr Zelenskyy made this statement during a joint press conference in Kyiv.
According to him, the corridor is scheduled to be technically completed by the end of the year.
“If there are certain obstacles from some European representatives regarding gas, with this corridor Ukraine can receive 10 billion cubic meters of gas per year,” Zelenskyy noted.
Ukraine and Bulgaria also discussed expanding cooperation in the energy sector and joint production of weapons, particularly drones.
The president thanked Bulgaria for its participation in relevant programs and support for Ukraine, particularly in strengthening air defense and on the path to EU accession.
