Ukraine has prepared proposals to ease tensions in its relations with Hungary
Kyiv has put together a package of initiatives and expressed its readiness to engage in dialogue with Budapest to improve bilateral relations. This was announced by a representative of the Ukrainian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, who emphasized the importance of constructive talks to ease tensions between the two countries.
This was stated by Ukrainian Foreign Minister Andriy Sibiga before the start of the EU Foreign Affairs Council meeting, according to a Ukrinform correspondent.
“We have a package of proposals and are ready to discuss them with our Hungarian partners in order to remove from the agenda the issue that has been spoiling and poisoning our bilateral relations. I am convinced that we have these realistic proposals on our part. We are interested in establishing a bilateral dialogue, both at the level of heads of relevant agencies and, of course, at the leadership level,” Sibiga emphasized.
