"Ukrainska Pravda" retracted a news story about an audit of the Armed Forces of Ukraine due to inaccurate information
"Ukrainska Pravda" retracted a previously published news story about the alleged start of an audit within the Armed Forces of Ukraine. The editorial staff stated that the information presented in the article was inaccurate.
The editorial team explained that the error occurred because the editor mistakenly accepted as credible a post published on a supposedly verified account belonging to Mykhailo Drapaty. “Ukrainska Pravda” apologized to its readers for the mistake.

The retracted article referred to an alleged audit being conducted in military units to assess combat readiness, logistics, manning, personnel training, and management effectiveness. It also included statements regarding accountability in the event of violations, official negligence, or abuse of power.
Since the editorial team determined that the published information was untrue, the report on the audit and the explanations provided in the retracted article should not be considered reliable.
