Cool weather will sweep across Ukraine on Thursday, October 1, 2026

Dry weather is expected throughout most of Ukraine on Thursday, October 1. Short-lived precipitation is possible only in some regions; frosts are forecast in some areas at night, while daytime temperatures will range from 15 to 20°C, rising to 22°C in some places.

"On October 1, a high-pressure system will continue to bring dry weather to most regions; only in the Azov region and Crimea will cyclonic activity over the Black Sea cause brief showers in some areas. Cold air will flow in from the northeast at higher elevations, so we forecast a cold night; however, during the day, the air will warm up to a pleasant, moderate temperature," the report states.

According to meteorologists, variable cloudiness is expected.

No precipitation is expected, with only brief showers in some areas of the Azov region and Crimea.

In the western regions, there will be fog in some places at night and in the morning.

The wind will be predominantly northeasterly, 7–12 m/s, with gusts of 15–20 m/s in some areas of the southeastern part of the country during the day.

Overnight temperatures in the western and northern regions, as well as in Vinnytsia, Cherkasy, and Poltava regions, will range from 1 to 6° above zero (with ground frosts of 0–3°); elsewhere, temperatures will range from 7 to 12° above zero; During the day, temperatures across Ukraine will range from 14 to 19°, reaching up to 22° in Zakarpattia.

In Kyiv and the surrounding region, dry weather will persist tomorrow. The wind will be from the northeast at 7–12 m/s.

In the capital, nighttime temperatures will be 4–6° above zero, and daytime temperatures 16–18°; in the Kyiv region, nighttime temperatures will be 1–6° above zero, with ground frosts of 0–3°; daytime temperatures will be 14–19° above zero.
