The government has announced plans to expand and improve youth housing programs
Ukrainian Prime Minister Serhiy Koretsky discussed with the Chamber of Regional Youth Congresses the possibility of developing and improving youth housing programs.
During a meeting with youth leaders from all regions under this new format, it was announced that community representatives, together with government agencies, will work to strengthen youth representation and will be involved in decision-making at the highest level, particularly regarding the formation of local budgets.
According to the head of government, each local chapter will compile the issues facing its community and bring them to the attention of the Chamber, from where they will be forwarded to the highest level of government so that young people return to their regions equipped with practical tools for action. The parties paid special attention to a detailed review of issues related to expanding and improving housing programs for young people.

The head of the parliamentary committee, Danylo Getmantsev, announced the start of work on a large-scale state program for affordable housing, which is expected to cover about 1 million Ukrainian families.
In Ukraine, banks remain optimistic about the development of lending in 2026. More than three-quarters of financial institutions plan to increase the volume of business lending, and expectations for growth in household loans have reached their highest level since the beginning of 2021.
