The government plans to raise the minimum wage in 2027: details
The government is working on Ukraine’s 2027 state budget proposal. The Cabinet of Ministers plans to raise the minimum wage to 9,546 hryvnias, which is 10.4% more than in 2026.
“The minimum wage as of January 1, 2027, is planned to be 9,546 hryvnias (+899 hryvnias, or +10.4%, from 8,647 hryvnias in 2026),” Zheleznyak noted.
According to the MP, starting in 2027, the subsistence minimum per person will be 3,559 hryvnias per month (+350 hryvnias, +10.9%): 3,691 hryvnias for able-bodied individuals, and for those unable to work—2,878 UAH.
It should be noted that currently, the subsistence minimum for able-bodied individuals is 3,328 UAH, and for those who have lost their ability to work (pensioners) – 2,595 UAH.

The average salary of Ukrainians dropped significantly in July.
A Russian journalist described working at the Ukrainian edition of Forbes with a salary of $15,000.
Additionally, the minimum wage in Ukraine may rise to 9,400 UAH in 2027.
