The government has allocated 2.3 billion hryvnia for communities near the front lines
The Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine has allocated an additional 2.3 billion hryvnia to support communities near the front lines.
The funds were distributed among regional budgets and the budgets of 179 local communities in frontline regions.
The funding is intended to support people who continue to work under extremely difficult conditions, including educators, medical professionals, and social workers.
Separately, the Zaporizhzhia region will receive over 36 million hryvnias to pay salaries to employees who continue to work in areas of active combat operations.

The “Tysiachovesna” grant program to support Ukrainian culture has already received over a thousand applications from authors and creative teams across the country. A significant portion of the projects are debut projects, and the final selection results are scheduled to be announced on June 12.
Deputy Prime Minister for Humanitarian Policy and Minister of Culture Tetiana Berezhna presented the state program “Tysiachovesna” to support cultural products.
