An electronic military registration document has been added to Army+
The Army+ app now features an electronic military registration document that allows service members of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) and the State Special Transport Service (SSTS) to quickly verify their status using a smartphone.
The new digital document has the same legal validity as its paper counterpart. It can be used when interacting with the Territorial Recruitment Centers (TRCs) and Specialized Units (SPs), military units, the Military Registration and Enlistment Office (VSP), the police, as well as in government agencies and organizations.
The document is generated automatically after authorization in the app based on data from the Military Personnel Registry, and information regarding military service is verified through the “Impulse” personnel tracking system. The document becomes available to military personnel gradually as data in the system is updated and verified. Currently, the electronic document can only be accessed with an internet connection; however, the developers’ next step will be to introduce the ability to generate an extract for offline use.
