Water rates may go up in Odesa
Odesa may raise the rates for centralized water supply and wastewater disposal. The city council’s executive committee supported the corresponding draft resolution and forwarded it to the Odesa City Military Administration for review.
For residents, the proposed water supply rate is 36.708 UAH per cubic meter, including VAT, and the wastewater disposal rate is 28.836 UAH.
Thus, the total cost of water supply and wastewater disposal could amount to 65.54 UAH per cubic meter, including VAT.
The city council attributes the need to revise the rates to rising costs of electricity, fuel, and the minimum wage.
At the same time, benefits for residents and eligibility for subsidies will remain unchanged.
The final decision on the implementation of the new rates is to be made by the Odesa City Military Administration.

The water supply and wastewater service rate of nearly 90 UAH per cubic meter will not currently apply to residents of Kyiv. This is an economically justified rate calculated by PJSC “AK “Kyivvodokanal.”
