A car exploded in Odesa; the driver was injured
On the morning of July 28, a crossover exploded in the courtyard of a high-rise building on Semen Paliy Street in Odesa. The 49-year-old driver was injured in the incident. Medical personnel provided him with assistance and examined him at the scene.
The victim’s wife reported the incident to the police around 8:00 a.m. According to preliminary information, the explosion occurred after the man started the SUV and began driving.
An investigative team and police bomb squad are currently working at the scene. Law enforcement officials are determining all the circumstances of the incident. Once the investigation is complete, the incident will be given an appropriate legal classification.
