The dollar has risen in Ukraine, while the euro continues to fall
At the start of the trading day, banks and currency exchange offices revised their exchange rates: the dollar is showing a slight increase, while the euro continues its downward trend following a drop in the official exchange rate.
The following rates were recorded at currency exchange offices today: U.S. dollar — 44.95 UAH (buy) / 44.87 UAH (sell), euro — 52.29 UAH (buy) / 52.00 UAH (sell).
On average, exchange rates in the banking system are as follows:
- US dollar — 44.61 UAH (buy) / 45.08 UAH (sell)
- Euro — 51.64 UAH (buy) / 52.34 UAH (sell)
It’s more profitable to sell dollars at Oschadbank and PUMB (commercial rate)—around 45.00 UAH. The most favorable dollar buying rate: PUMB (commercial rate)—44.70 UAH.
The cheapest euro buying rate: PrivatBank (card rate) — 52.08 UAH; the most favorable euro selling rate: PUMB — 51.90 UAH.
The dollar has strengthened moderately by a few kopecks, while the euro continues to lose ground amid a decline in the official exchange rate and fluctuations in the interbank market.
Analysts note that short-term currency trends remain unstable, and the difference between bank and exchange rates persists.
