The "Khmarynka" kamikaze drone, with a range of up to 50 km, was unveiled in Ukraine
The Ukrainian company "General Chereshnya" has unveiled a new aircraft-type kamikaze drone called "Khmarynka."
This was reported by the manufacturer.
The UAV is positioned as a mass strike solution for engaging targets in tactical depth, including armored vehicles, transport, warehouses, and shelters.
The drone has a maximum flight range of up to 50 km and a flight duration of up to 60 minutes. It can carry a payload of up to 7 kg and reach speeds of up to 140 km/h.
Launch is performed via a catapult, allowing it to be used in field conditions without complex infrastructure.
The company noted that the drone has already passed testing and is ready for mass production.
The first 150 units are planned to be provided free of charge to the Security and Defense Forces of Ukraine to gather feedback from the military.
Recently, the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine certified and approved for use in the Armed Forces of Ukraine three fiber-optic FPV systems manufactured by enterprises of JSC “Ukrainian Defense Industry.”
Prior to this, the Ministry of Defense had codified and approved the domestic unmanned aerial vehicle system “Volynyaka” for use by the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
