An earthquake was recorded in Transcarpathia
An earthquake struck the Mukachevo District of Zakarpattia Oblast on September 16. The tremors were recorded throughout the region.
This was reported by the Main Center for Special Monitoring.
“The Main Center for Special Control recorded an earthquake in the Mukachevo District of Zakarpattia Oblast with a magnitude of 2.5 (on the Richter scale) at a depth of 3 km. According to the earthquake classification, it is considered barely perceptible,” the statement reads.
Earlier, a minor earthquake was recorded in the Carpathian Foothills region.
