Warmer weather is returning to Ukraine on June 4, with temperatures reaching up to 27°C

On June 4, Ukraine is expected to see mostly comfortable temperatures, which will gradually stabilize following a brief cold snap. At the same time, most regions are forecast to experience brief showers and thunderstorms in some areas, while in certain regions temperatures will rise to 27°C.

This was reported by meteorologist and weather forecaster Natalka Didenko. The expert noted that the slight cooling on Thursday will level off. She added that daytime temperatures will be optimal for the human body.

On average across Ukraine, temperatures are expected to be around +20...+25°C. In the south, temperatures may rise to +27°C in some places. It may be cooler—around +16...+19°C—in Zakarpattia and the Kharkiv region.

“A bit of a fly in the ointment,” Didenko noted.

Tonight, air temperatures will range from +11°C to +18°C depending on the region. In Kyiv, light rain and a warm-up to +22°C are expected. Overnight, temperatures will be around +13°C, she specified on Facebook.

As a reminder, May 2026 in Kyiv turned out to be warmer than usual and was accompanied by a series of meteorological anomalies. The city recorded new all-time high temperatures, as well as periods of the greatest heat during the month.

Earlier, the Ukrainian Hydrometeorological Center released a forecast for the second month of spring, according to which temperatures and precipitation will remain within the climatic norm.
