The High Anti-Corruption Court remanded attorney Oleksandr Didych into custody; investigators consider him to be Serhiy Kropiva’s representative in the “Carthage” case. As an alternative to detention, the court set bail at 15 million hryvnias.
The investigating judge partially granted the motion filed by NABU detectives and approved by the SAPO prosecutor. If bail is posted, the suspect will be subject to the corresponding procedural obligations.
According to the investigation, Didych is suspected of participating in a criminal organization and laundering assets obtained through criminal means. The case concerns the activities of an organization which, according to NABU and the SAP, was headed by Kropiva and was involved in providing “protection” for fraudulent call centers and laundering illicit proceeds.
