(Video) Zelenskyy's interpreter found himself in an awkward situation because his microphone was left on

Following a joint press conference with the President of Ukraine, an unexpected technical glitch occurred—the interpreter accidentally left his microphone on, and his emotional remarks were broadcast live. The incident quickly went viral online due to the blunt and informal language used.

The incident occurred after the conclusion of the joint press conference between Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy and Dutch Prime Minister Dick Schoof. According to eyewitnesses, the interpreter accompanying the event forgot to turn off the microphone after the official portion ended.

As a result, his emotional reaction to the event that had just concluded was captured on the audio recording. A clip featuring the informal remark has been circulating online.

After that, the man continued in a more restrained but still emotional manner, commenting on the situation: “I’ve never had a press conference like this before!” he said, wrapping up his workday. The incident did not affect the official proceedings of the event, but it became the subject of active discussion on social media due to its informal and accidental nature.

President Volodymyr Zelenskyy also met with King Willem-Alexander of the Netherlands and the country’s Prime Minister Rob Jetten.

Zelenskyy instructed officials to reach out to partners regarding missiles for the Patriot system.

Zelenskyyannounced news regarding Patriot missiles following a conversation with the NATO Secretary General.
