Video: StopTisk Has Returned Over 78 Million Hryvnia to Businesses in a Year
In its first year of operation, the “StopTisk” platform received 297 reports from business representatives, of which 292 were processed. Entrepreneurs were reimbursed more than 78 million hryvnia, as well as metal, vehicles, and equipment.
Over the course of one year of operation of the “StopTisk” platform the Office of the Prosecutor General, which responds to cases of unlawful pressure on businesses, has returned more than 78 million hryvnias in cash in various currencies, precious metals, vehicles, and other property to entrepreneurs, Prosecutor General Ruslan Kravchenko announced on September 2, reports UNN.
“A year ago, we launched ‘StopTisk’—a digital platform for direct communication between businesses and the Office of the Prosecutor General.
At the time, it was a new tool whose effectiveness had yet to be proven in practice. Today, we can say that we have succeeded in establishing systematic communication with entrepreneurs and setting up a rapid response to specific situations,” Kravchenko wrote on social media.
According to him, the mechanisms for interaction are clear and straightforward.
“Businesses know where to turn in cases of unlawful pressure, procedural abuses, unfounded seizure of property, interference in business operations, freezing of accounts, and other illegal actions by law enforcement officials,” Kravchenko emphasized.
He noted that complaints are automatically registered and immediately forwarded to the designated unit of the Office of the Prosecutor General and the relevant regional prosecutor’s office. This is followed by an investigation, a response, and feedback.
“Over the past year, 297 complaints were received through the platform, of which 292 have already been processed. In 58 cases, prosecutors took measures to restore the violated rights of business owners,” Kravchenko reported.
Forty-seven in-person meetings with business representatives were organized, the Prosecutor General added.
“In addition, entrepreneurs have been reimbursed cash in various currencies totaling over 78 million hryvnias, as well as precious metals, vehicles, machinery, and equipment,” he noted.
Kravchenko emphasized: “No complaint goes unaddressed; behind each one lies a specific situation and a specific solution. That is what systematic work is all about.”
“This active work will continue, and if you, as an entrepreneur, are feeling pressure—please reach out via stoptysk.gp.gov.ua. The verification and response process can be initiated with just a few clicks,” the Prosecutor General noted.
“Our position remains unchanged: honest businesses must be able to operate and be protected. And those who violate the law, regardless of their status or position, must be held accountable. We’re continuing our work,” Kravchenko stated.
