Video: Three cars collided in Kyiv; there are fatalities
On the morning of June 30, a serious traffic accident involving at least three passenger cars occurred in the Podilsky District of Kyiv. The accident took place on Ivan Vyhovsky Street, where one of the vehicles rolled onto its roof as a result of a violent collision.
According to preliminary reports, there were fatalities as a result of the accident.
Before emergency services arrived, bystanders and other drivers attempted to provide first aid to the victims.
Footage released shows that at least three cars sustained significant damage. One of them ended up overturned on its roof. Witnesses also recorded how concerned residents of the capital tried to open the doors of the wrecked car on their own to free the driver, who was trapped inside the cabin.
Ambulance crews, State Emergency Service rescuers, and law enforcement officers were quickly dispatched to the scene of the accident.
The causes of the traffic accident are currently being investigated, as is the exact number of fatalities and injuries.
Due to the accident, traffic on Ivan Vyhovsky Street may be significantly disrupted, so drivers are advised to choose alternative routes whenever possible.

Earlier, a fatal traffic accident occurred in the Obukhiv district. A 70-year-old driver of a passenger car was killed in the accident, and two female passengers were injured.
Since the beginning of this year, 390 people, including 168 children, have been injured in traffic accidents involving light electric vehicles in Ukraine.
