A graduate from Lviv set an academic record by scoring a perfect 800 on the NMT
Yuriy Hashchuk, a graduate of the Lviv City Council’s “Hrono” Lyceum, achieved a remarkable result on the National Multisubject Test (NMT), earning the maximum score of 200 points in four subjects.
He aced the exams in mathematics, Ukrainian language, chemistry, and Ukrainian history, earning a total of 800 points—the maximum possible score.
The official emphasized that this incredible success is the result of years of persistent, dedicated work and the traditional drive of Lviv students to achieve the highest results. In addition, the head of the relevant department noted that Lviv has a program to support talented youth, under which all graduates of the city’s educational institutions who score 400, 600, and 800 points, traditionally receive cash prizes and awards from the local community.
This is stated in a post by Andriy Zakalyuk, director of the Department of Education and Culture of the Lviv City Council.
Participants in the main sessions of the National Multidisciplinary Test, who took the exams on June 4 and 5, can now view their official results on a 100–200-point scale in their personal accounts.
Earlier, the Ukrainian Center for Educational Quality Assessment commented on the situation in the Odesa region, where participants in the National Multidisciplinary Test spent nearly 13 hours at the testing center due to prolonged air raid alerts. According to the agency, graduates were offered the option to reschedule the exam for an additional session, but they declined and decided to wait until the testing was over and take the NMT on the same day.
