Vitaliy Kim announced changes to the structure of the Ministry of Veterans Affairs

The Ministry of Veterans Affairs is set to undergo restructuring following an analysis of the agency’s operations. The structure will be adapted to specific tasks, for each of which responsible individuals and deadlines will be established.

According to him, the Ministry of Veterans Affairs has already completed an analysis of its operations. The results, as the minister noted, fully align with the report by Dmytro Lubinets, the Verkhovna Rada’s Commissioner for Human Rights.

“There are problems that need to be corrected. My task is to optimize the ministry’s work so that it delivers concrete results for veterans. I am now changing the ministry’s structure not to suit a particular person, but to suit the task, so that it can be implemented within specific timeframes,” Kim stated.

Following the Veterans’ Forum, responsibilities and deadlines are being defined

The restructuring of the ministry’s operations is taking place, in particular, based on the outcomes of the 9th International Veterans’ Forum. According to Kim, following the event, the ministry received tasks from the president, the prime minister, and the veterans’ community.

The priorities identified during the forum must now be translated into specific decisions, for each of which implementation deadlines and responsible parties will be established.

This was announced by Minister of Veterans Affairs Vitaliy Kim as he summarized the ministry’s work over the past month.

Kim outlined five priorities for veterans’ policy.

Earlier, Kim proposed introducing a Military Card for service members and veterans.
