Another 35 children have been successfully returned from the occupied territories and Russia
Last week, as part of the Bring Kids Back UA initiative, Ukraine repatriated another 35 children and teenagers from the temporarily occupied territories and Russia.
Among those rescued is 17-year-old Vlad, who was forced to obtain a Russian passport and whom the authorities attempted to enlist in the military. Fifteen-year-old Lyubomyr survived the destruction of his home, endured regular searches, and witnessed a murder committed by Russian soldiers.
Another rescued individual is 17-year-old Valery. Because of his Ukrainian heritage, he faced discrimination, and at school he was forced to march and write letters in support of the Russian military.
All 35 children are now undergoing reintegration at the “Hope and Recovery” centers, where they receive psychological counseling, assistance with paperwork, a safe haven, and necessary support.

Ukraine has repatriated four more children, aged 6 to 15, from the temporarily occupied territories. Among them are a boy who had been separated from his parents for several years, a girl whose mother was unable to retrieve her for a long time due to the loss of documents, and two teenagers who found themselves under occupation without their families.
Another 11 children were successfully returned to Ukrainian-controlled territory from the temporarily occupied Kherson region. Among them are four girls and seven boys aged 6 to 17. An adult orphan was also evacuated.
