A bail of 150 million was posted for former Energy Minister Galushchenko
The full amount of bail has been posted for former Energy Minister Herman Galushchenko, who is a suspect in the “Midas” case.
This information was confirmed by Halushchenko’s attorney, Vitaliy Sviryepov; the press service of the High Anti-Corruption Court; and sources within law enforcement agencies.
Previously, three private companies had paid 105 million hryvnias of the 150 million hryvnias in bail set by the court. The remaining 45 million hryvnias were transferred today by two additional private firms.
After the full bail amount has been paid, Herman Galushchenko may be released from custody, but he is required to comply with the procedural obligations imposed by the court.
