At the next meeting of the Contact Group on Ukraine’s Defense in the “Ramstein” format, the main focus will be on strengthening Ukraine’s air defense, the supply of Patriot systems, and missiles for intercepting ballistic targets.
President Volodymyr Zelenskyy made this statement while speaking with journalists in Belgium.
According to the head of state, preparations for the meeting began during talks with the NATO Secretary General and the German Defense Minister.
The president noted that the PURL program and further strengthening of Ukraine’s air defense system also remain among the priority issues.
In addition, Zelenskyy reported that about ten countries are preparing new support packages for Ukraine.
