Zelenskyy congratulated educators and outlined the key components of Ukraine's future
President Volodymyr Zelenskyy congratulated educators on their professional holiday and emphasized their role in shaping Ukraine’s future.
According to him, the country’s development will depend on future generations, and what matters are not only knowledge but also skills, values, and people’s ability to work together.
Zelenskyy also expressed his hope that Ukrainian children would return to their normal educational routine as soon as possible—in peace and safety.
The day before, the president visited a high school in the Kyiv region, where he spoke with students and teachers. Due to the threat of Russian airstrikes, classes that day were held in a shelter.
During the meeting, they discussed educators’ salaries, housing programs, school supplies, curriculum updates, and restocking libraries with modern books. Zelenskyy instructed officials to explore the possibility of expanding state housing programs for education workers.
