On Knowledge Day, President Volodymyr Zelenskyy visited a school in the Kyiv region that had been completely rebuilt after being destroyed by Russian troops in 2022. He congratulated the students, first-graders, parents, and educators on the start of the new school year.

Despite Russian attacks and attempts to disrupt the educational process, Ukrainian children began school on September 1. During his visit, Zelenskyy spoke with students and the administration of the rebuilt school.

The head of state congratulated first-graders, all schoolchildren, their parents, and educators on September 1, emphasizing the importance of children being able to sit at their desks and receive an education in their home country.

On Knowledge Day, the president visited a school in the Kyiv region that had been completely destroyed by Russian occupiers in 2022 and subsequently rebuilt. During the visit, he spoke with students and school administrators.

“I thank all the school staff for their work. I thank the parents who, despite the anxiety and Russian attacks, remain in Ukraine and, together with the teachers, are making every effort to ensure that our children can study at home, in Ukraine,” Volodymyr Zelenskyy emphasized.
