Zelenskyy replaced one of the deputy commanders of the National Guard

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy has made personnel changes in the leadership of the National Guard of Ukraine.

The head of state appointed Oleg Myronenko as deputy commander of the National Guard. The corresponding decree No. 470/2026 was published on the president’s website.

At the same time, in another decree, Zelenskyy dismissed Oleksiy Osypenko from the post of Deputy Commander of the National Guard.

The decrees do not specify the reasons for the personnel changes.

Zelenskyyawarded 34 Ukrainians on Volunteer Day.

Earlier, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy awarded state honors to 362 military personnel, 176 of them posthumously. The awards were granted for courage, dedication, and the defense of the country’s sovereignty. Among the honors are orders, medals, and the “Cross of Military Merit.”
