Zheleznyak reported technical glitches during the vote on the Pantheon

People’s Deputy Yaroslav Zheleznyak stated that he personally participated in the vote on the presidential bill to establish the Ukrainian National Pantheon, and that his colleagues in the faction can confirm this. However, his voting card did not work.

According to him, his personal card was used during the process, but the vote was cast from a different console due to technical issues with the equipment. It failed to work several times throughout the day during various votes. The MP plans to submit a request to the Verkhovna Rada Secretariat regarding the need to repair the technical equipment. Zheleznyak also emphasized that his public stance in support of the bill on social media remained unchanged both before and during the vote.

A total of 287 members of parliament voted in favor of the bill. There were no votes “against,” and 51 members of parliament either did not vote or were allegedly “absent,” although their cards were used in other votes that same day.

The Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine adopted Bill No. 15360—which provides for the construction of the Ukrainian National Pantheon in the capital—in principle and as a whole.

Kirill Budanov, head of the Main Intelligence Directorate, welcomed the Verkhovna Rada’s adoption of the law on the creation of the Ukrainian National Pantheon, calling it an important step toward strengthening Ukrainian statehood.
