The 14th Army Corps refuted Russia's claims that it had captured Kozacha Lopana

Kozacha Lopan in the Kharkiv region remains under the control of the Ukrainian Defense Forces. Claims by Russian propagandists and Vladimir Putin regarding the alleged capture of the town are untrue.

At the same time, the situation in the Kozacha Lopan area remains tense—active combat operations are ongoing.

The 14th Army Corps noted that Ukrainian troops are holding designated lines, conducting active defense, and inflicting fire damage on the enemy.

According to the corps, since the start of active hostilities in the Kozacha Lopana area, Russian forces have suffered 178 killed and 210 wounded.

On the morning of September 2, Russian forces continued their attack on Ukraine using strike drones. Explosions were heard in Kyiv and the Kyiv region, where air defense forces are operating.

On the night of September 1, Russia launched a massive strike against Ukraine using missiles and more than 170 drones. Air defense forces repelled the attack, during which the enemy used, among other things, “Iskander” and “Banderol” missiles.
