The Russian military attacked a facility in the Poltava region
On the morning of Sunday, May 17, Russian occupation forces struck an industrial facility in the Myrhorod district of Poltava Oblast.
This was reported on Telegram by Vitaliy Dyakivnych, head of the Poltava Regional Military Administration.
As a result of the enemy raid, the facility’s technological equipment was significantly damaged, but no casualties were reported.
The attack took place amid a general increase in the air threat in the region, where enemy shelling has intensified recently.
The Russian army continues to systematically destroy the industrial capacity and infrastructure of Ukrainian regions.
Emergency services and specialized experts immediately began work at the site of the strike to address the consequences and assess the damage.
The head of the Poltava Regional Military Administration promptly informed the community about the operational situation in the area and confirmed that there were no casualties among the employees.
“This morning, the enemy attacked one of the enterprises in the Myrhorod district. Production equipment was damaged. No reports of injuries have been received,” the post states.

Prior to this, the Ukrainian Armed Forces eliminated another 1,020 Russian troops on the front lines over the past 24 hours.
The occupiers complain that the Ukrainian Armed Forces are cutting off the land corridor to Crimea with drones.
