Airstrike on Sloviansk: number of injured rises to 14, two killed
The number of people injured in the massive airstrike on Sloviansk has risen to 14, according to updated information released by the head of the Donetsk Regional Military Administration, Vadym Filashkin, as of 01:10 p.m.
Earlier reports mentioned two deaths and seven injuries, but during the clearing of rubble and provision of aid, the number of casualties doubled.
Among the dead are an 11-year-old girl and her mother, who were killed under the debris of their own home.
The enemy attack occurred around 10:00 using KAB-250 guided aerial bombs. Strikes hit various parts of the city, causing extensive damage to both private houses and apartment buildings.
Among the 14 injured is a 7-year-old child, whose condition is currently being stabilised by medical staff. All victims are receiving emergency medical care in local hospitals, with some in serious condition.
Previously, the consequences of the attack on Odesa were reported.
Journalists were also caught under fire in Kramatorsk.
