Belarus deploys relay network to control Russian drones
The Belarusian regime has strengthened its support for Russian aggression by deploying a dedicated relay network for drone control in the second half of 2025, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky officially reported.
This infrastructure enables Russian forces to more effectively strike northern regions of Ukraine — from Kyiv region to Volyn.
Zelensky stressed that the use of Belarusian territory has become a critical factor in carrying out a number of attacks on Ukrainian targets.
“Some of the strikes, particularly on energy infrastructure and railways in our regions, would not have been possible without Belarusian assistance,” the president said. This highlights the deep integration of Belarusian resources into the Kremlin’s war machine.
According to Ukrainian sources, over 3,000 Belarusian enterprises are currently working to support the Russian military, supplying equipment, machinery, and critical components, including for missile production used to target Ukrainian cities.
For context, Belarus also treats Russian soldiers in its sanatoriums and is used by Russia to stage provocations against NATO.
