Thick smoke covers Dnipro after fires caused by Russian missile attack

In Dnipro on Saturday, December 6, warehouses containing medical supplies and tires caught fire following a missile strike by Russian occupying forces. A dense smoke cloud formed over the city.
This was reported by the State Emergency Service of Ukraine (SES) and the Telegram channel of Dnipro mayor Borys Filatov.

“The missile attack this morning in Dnipro caused a fire in warehouse facilities. Aviation has been deployed to extinguish the blaze,” the SES stated.
A total of 114 rescuers and 35 units of SES equipment are working at the scene, and efforts to eliminate the consequences of the attack are ongoing.

According to Filatov, a warehouse storing gauze and bandages is on fire, as well as another facility where tires were stored. This is what caused the thick black smoke covering Dnipro.

As a reminder, on December 6 the Russian army struck critical energy infrastructure in the Lviv region using attack drones and cruise missiles.
During the combined attack, explosions were heard in Kyiv. Local authorities reported air-defense activity, while the Air Force confirmed the flight of “Kinzhal” missiles and ballistic missiles toward the capital.
Strikes were also recorded in Fastiv, where railway infrastructure was damaged, forcing Ukrzaliznytsia to reroute passenger trains.
