Drone hits high-rise building in Odesa region: dozens evacuated
Russian forces once again attacked Odesa region using strike drones. An enemy drone struck between the 18th and 19th floors of a residential complex, damaging the building’s façade and glazing.
This was reported on Telegram by the head of Odesa OVA, Oleh Kiper.
“During the night, the enemy again attacked the peaceful population of the Odesa district with strike drones. An enemy drone hit between the 18th and 19th floors of a multi-story building, without further detonation,” Kiper noted.
According to him, the enemy strike damaged the building’s façade and glazing, as well as parked vehicles.
He also reported that 58 people were evacuated from the high-rise, including 8 children. Data on casualties has not yet been received; information is being clarified. All specialized services are working on-site, conducting inspections and eliminating the consequences.
On the night of January 22, Russia carried out a massive drone attack across Ukraine. The attack began in the evening of January 21, around 18:00, and continued throughout the night.
