Ukrainian Armed Forces drones destroyed an FSB post in Donetsk and killed 12 officers

On the morning of April 22, the Ukrainian Armed Forces’ unmanned aerial vehicle units struck Russian FSB targets in the temporarily occupied city of Donetsk. The unit’s command post and rear base were destroyed.

This was reported by SBS Commander Robert "Madyar" Brovdi on Facebook.

The FSB’s UMD is an operational special unit of the FSB within the Counterintelligence Service, which functions as a special forces unit carrying out specific operations and wartime tasks, Brovdi noted.

The UMD carries out counterintelligence tasks, conducts sabotage, military special operations, establishes agent networks, searches for and detains disloyal citizens, physically eliminates opponents, and coordinates pro-Russian militants.

Recruitment efforts are underway on Ukrainian territory, and the agent network is also carrying out terrorist attacks, sabotage, and arson.

As a result of the successful operation, the Unmanned Systems Forces delivered eight high-precision strikes using FP-2 munitions (60-100 kg warheads) at 08:01 on April 22.

According to operational intelligence data, enemy losses from the strike amount to 27 special forces personnel: 12 officers killed in action (200), 15 wounded (300).

The operation was planned by specialists from the Center for Deep Strike of the Unmanned Systems Forces in conjunction with specialists from the 1st Corps of the National Guard of Ukraine “Azov.” The strike was carried out using MiddleStrike “Birds” from the 1st Operational Command of the Unmanned Systems Forces, coordinated by the newly established Center for Deep Strike of the Unmanned Systems Forces.
