Kryvyi Rih energy workers quickly restore power supply after drone attack
In Kryvyi Rih, all consumers who were disconnected from electricity as a result of the overnight Russian drone strike have now been reconnected.
This was reported by the head of the city’s Defence Council, Oleksandr Vilkul.
He noted that energy workers carried out complex repair work and restored power supply to more than 45,000 consumers. The operation of boiler houses has also been restored, and they have already begun heating up.
“The energy workers achieved almost the impossible. All emergency-disconnected consumers have been reconnected,” he said.
Vilkul added that by the morning, boiler houses had resumed operation and were gradually reaching operating temperature. Water supply and electric public transport, including the high-speed tram, are functioning as normal.
He emphasised the importance of this restoration for maintaining essential municipal services such as water supply and electric transport.
