On the night of August 12, Russian occupation forces launched an attack on Zaporizhzhia. As a result of the attack, one of the stores in the “Epicenter” chain was damaged.

 

Ivan Fedorov, head of the Zaporizhzhia Regional Military Administration, reported on the consequences of the enemy attack.

In one of Zaporizhzhia’s residential neighborhoods, the “Epicenter” shopping center was hit, and a fire broke out after the strike. In addition, a private residential building was damaged: windows were shattered, the gate and fence were destroyed, and a fire broke out, which rescue workers have already successfully extinguished. According to preliminary data, none of the residents were injured as a result of the shelling.

Due to the enemy strike, approximately 1,200 customers in one of the districts of the regional center were left without power. Utility workers are ready to begin restoration work as soon as the security situation allows.
