General Staff: lull observed on three front-line axes
Since the beginning of the day, 78 combat engagements have been recorded along the entire front line. According to the General Staff, a relative lull is being observed on three axes.
This was reported by the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
According to the General Staff, today communities in several settlements came under enemy artillery and mortar fire, including:
- Chernihiv Oblast: Huta-Studenetska, Kliusy, Bleshniya
- Sumy Oblast: Bezsalivka, Rohizne, Ryzhivka, Iskryskivshchyna, Ulanove, Malushyine, Budky, Chernatske
Situation on the fronts
- Northern Slobozhanskyi and Kursk axes:
The enemy carried out 61 shelling attacks, including two using multiple launch rocket systems. Since the start of the day, the enemy has not conducted offensive operations. - Southern Slobozhanskyi axis:
Defense Forces repelled four enemy attacks toward the settlements of Kruhle, Ternova, Obukhivka, and near Prylipka. One engagement is currently ongoing. - Kupiansk axis:
The enemy attempted to advance toward Petropavlivka and Kurylivka. - Lyman axis:
The occupying army carried out six attacks on Ukrainian positions near Novoselivka and toward Lyman, Stavky, and Drobysheve. One engagement is ongoing. - Sloviansk axis:
Russian forces attempted to advance on Ukrainian positions in the area of Sviato-Pokrovske. - Kramatorsk axis:
The enemy did not conduct offensive operations. - Kostiantynivka axis:
The enemy made 13 attempts to break into Ukrainian defenses near Kostiantynivka, Oleksandro-Shultyne, Pleshchiivka, Shcherbynivka, Ivanopillia, Rusyn Yar, and toward Sofiivka. Fighting continues. - Pokrovsk axis:
Since the beginning of the day, Russian occupiers have made 21 attempts to dislodge Ukrainian troops from their positions near Myrnohrad, Pokrovsk, Nykanorivka, Rodynske, Kotlyne, Udachne, Molodetske, Filiia, and toward Kucheriv Yar. Defense Forces are holding the line and have already repelled 17 attacks. - Oleksandrivka axis:
Ukrainian defenders repelled seven enemy assault actions. The enemy is attempting to advance near the settlement of Zlahoda and toward Nove Zaporizhzhia. One engagement is ongoing. - Huliaipole axis:
Twenty-four combat engagements took place near Huliaipole and toward Olenokostiantynivka and Varvarivka. Fighting is ongoing in some locations. Upper Tersa, Barvinivka, and Liubytske were hit by guided aerial bomb (KAB) strikes. - Orikhiv axis:
The enemy did not conduct offensive operations. - Dnipro River (Prydniprovske) axis:
The enemy did not conduct offensive operations.
For reference, 99 combat engagements occurred across the front over the past day, with the most intense fighting on two axes. Huliaipole remains under Ukrainian control but has entered a gray zone.
The heaviest fighting continues on the Pokrovsk and Huliaipole axes, according to the General Staff.
