99 combat clashes recorded on the front in one day; fiercest fighting on two axes
Russian forces continue attacks on the positions of Ukraine’s Defense Forces. Since the beginning of the day, 99 combat clashes have been recorded along the frontline. The most intense fighting is ongoing on the Pokrovsk and Huliaipole axes.
This was reported in the General Staff’s update as of 4:00 p.m.
Border settlements came under artillery fire from Russian territory, including Ryzhivka, Bezsalivka, Iskryskivshchyna, Stara Huta, Ulanove, and Rohizne in Sumy region, as well as Semenivka in Chernihiv region.
Fighting in the north
On the Northern Slobozhanshchyna and Kursk axes, the enemy carried out 52 shelling attacks.
Fighting in Kharkiv region
On the Southern Slobozhanshchyna axis, Ukrainian forces repelled seven enemy attacks near Vovchansk, Starytsia, and Prylipka; two clashes are still ongoing.
On the Kupiansk axis, no enemy offensive actions have been recorded so far.
On the Lyman axis, the invading army attacked six times near Myrne, Zarichne, and toward Drobysheve and Stavky.
Fighting in the east
On the Sloviansk axis, Defense Forces are repelling two enemy attacks toward Riznykivka.
On the Kramatorsk axis, the enemy attempted to advance three times near Vasiukivka and Chasiv Yar.
On the Kostiantynivka axis, Ukrainian troops stopped 12 enemy offensive actions near Oleksandro-Shultyne, Pleshchiivka, Kleban-Byk, and toward Stepanivka, Ivanopillia, Mykolaipillia, and Sofiivka.
On the Pokrovsk axis, since the beginning of the day, the occupiers have made 27 attempts to push Ukrainian defenders from their positions near Nykanorivka, Chervonyi Lyman, Rodynske, Myrnohrad, Kotlyne, Udachne, Molodetske, Dachne, Filiia, and toward Kucheriv Yar, Nove Shakhove, and Hryshyne. The Defense Forces are holding the line and have already repelled 22 attacks.
On the Oleksandrivka axis, the enemy attacked six times near Oleksandrohrad, Verbove, Solodke, Zlahoda, and toward Oleksiivka and Ivanivka.
Fighting in the south
On the Huliaipole axis, the Defense Forces repelled 23 Russian attacks near Huliaipole and toward Dobropillia, Varvarivka, Zelene, and Pryluky. Thirteen clashes are still ongoing. The village of Verkhnia Tersa was hit by air-dropped guided bombs (KABs).
On the Orikhiv axis, no enemy offensive actions have been recorded so far.
On the Dnipro (Prydniprovske) axis, no enemy offensive actions have been recorded so far.
On other sections of the front, the situation has not changed significantly.
