General Staff confirms strike on Russian arsenal in Kostroma region
The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine has officially confirmed the strike on the 100th Arsenal of the Main Missile and Artillery Directorate of the Russian Ministry of Defense in Russia’s Kostroma region.
The strike was carried out by units of Ukraine’s Defense Forces with the aim of reducing the military potential of the Russian army. The facility is located near the settlement of Neya. Following the attack, Russian authorities announced an evacuation.
The General Staff reported that a fire was recorded on the territory of the facility. The extent of the damage is currently being clarified.
According to preliminary information, an evacuation of the local population has been declared.
Over the past day, Ukrainian Armed Forces eliminated more than 900 Russian occupiers.
Russian officers are reportedly attempting to quickly leave the Pokrovsk direction.
