The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine reported that a Russian export terminal and military facilities had been struck

On the night of July 26–27, the Ukrainian Defense Forces carried out strikes against a number of Russian military targets and infrastructure. The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine reported that an export terminal in the Rostov region, a control relay station for strike drones, a road bridge across the Henichesk Strait, and other military targets in the temporarily occupied territories of Ukraine had been struck.

“A ground-based relay station for controlling ‘Geran’/‘Gerbera’-type strike UAVs was struck in the Zalizny Port area of the Kherson region. The relay station increases the range, stability, and quality of control over attack drones used by the enemy to strike Ukrainian territory,” reads a statement from the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine on Telegram.

Earlier that day, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy reported that the Ukrainian Armed Forces had struck an export terminal in the Rostov Oblast (Russian Federation) on Sunday night. In this regard, the General Staff clarified that, following the strike on the export terminal in Rostov-on-Don, Rostov Oblast, a fire was reported on the facility’s grounds.

It is also reported that Ukrainian troops struck a road bridge across the Henichesk Strait in the Kherson region, which the enemy uses for military logistics in the temporarily occupied territories of southern Ukraine.

Strikes were also carried out against an occupiers’ repair unit in Kadiivka, a fuel and lubricants depot in Simeykine, Luhansk Oblast, and a logistics depot in Perevalne (Autonomous Republic of Crimea). A strike on a target was recorded, followed by a fire on the premises, according to the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

As a reminder, on the night of July 25, long-range drones of the Security Service of Ukraine attacked Russian military facilities in Rostov-on-Don and in the waters of the Caspian Sea.

A Russian port on the Black Sea has halted oil loading operations.

Prior to this, Russia reported a drone attack on the night of July 25. In the city of Engels in the Saratov region, following reports of a drone threat, a fire broke out, likely near a military facility. Russian authorities have not officially reported on the cause of the fire or the possible consequences of the attack.
