The Main Intelligence Directorate identified foreign components in the Russian drone "Prince Oleg the Prophet"
The Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ukrainian Ministry of Defense has revealed detailed information about the components of the new Russian reconnaissance drone, the "Prince Vichiy Oleg."
Despite international sanctions, the Russian manufacturer continues to successfully integrate technological solutions from China, Switzerland, and Taiwan into its products.
The drone was developed by the “Ushkuynik” Research and Production Center, which specializes in creating interception systems and FPV drones.
The published list of components indicates the Russian military-industrial complex’s heavy reliance on Western and Asian microchips, which enter the Russian Federation through networks of intermediaries.
The aircraft’s technical specifications allow it to perform missions at a distance of up to 45 km with a flight duration of up to 3.5 hours.
The “Prince Vichiy Oleg” has a wingspan of 2.8 meters and is capable of climbing to an altitude of up to 3,000 meters, reaching speeds of up to 130 km/h.
The reconnaissance team paid particular attention to the drone’s optical system, which uses artificial intelligence technologies for automatic target detection and tracking.
A Chinese-made IP camera and a gyro-stabilized system allow the occupiers to conduct real-time reconnaissance with high precision.
The drone’s electronic components are based on microcontrollers from STMicroelectronics, manufactured in China and Taiwan.
The flight controller and components from CUAV Technology ensure stable control, while SunnySky electric motors provide the drone’s propulsion.
To counter Ukrainian electronic warfare systems, Russian engineers installed a special four-channel CRP antenna on the drone.
