Commander of the “Española” brigade shot dead in Sevastopol
On December 4, in the annexed city of Sevastopol, Stanislav Orlov, call sign “Spanish,” commander of the “Española” brigade, was killed. This brigade was formed from far-right football fans to participate in the war against Ukraine.
According to Astra, citing eyewitness accounts and CCTV footage, around 12:17 PM, four cars arrived at Orlov’s dacha in the “Flotsky” garden association. Men wearing masks and carrying automatic weapons exited the vehicles. Neighbors reported hearing several gunshots, and Orlov did not resist.
Six hours later, an ambulance arrived and took Orlov’s body. Law enforcement remained at the scene to conduct a search.
Former members of the “Española” brigade suggest that the attack may have been motivated by suspicions that Orlov was involved in arms trafficking and organized criminal activities.
Stanislav Orlov, commander of the 88th Separate Diversion and Reconnaissance Brigade of Russia known for participating in combat operations against Ukraine and publicly declaring “legitimate targets” among Ukrainian civilians, has died. The circumstances of his death are currently under investigation, according to media reports.
