Russia continues the war against Ukraine until Kyiv makes “appropriate decisions,” says Peskov
The Kremlin has stated that Russia will continue its war against Ukraine until Kyiv adopts the “appropriate decisions” for a “peaceful settlement,” according to Russian media.
"The doors for a peaceful settlement regarding Ukraine are open, but as long as the relevant decisions are not made by Kyiv, Russia continues its special military operation (war against Ukraine)," said Kremlin spokesperson Dmitry Peskov.
He added that Moscow currently does not plan to provide information on the outcomes of the latest round of negotiations in Abu Dhabi.
It is worth noting that on 4 February, a new stage of talks between Ukraine, Russia, and the United States began in Abu Dhabi.
The Ukrainian delegation, led by the Secretary of the National Security and Defence Council Rustem Umerov, has commenced the discussions in the United Arab Emirates.
Previously, The Telegraph explained why Trump’s peace plan could become a trap for Ukraine. Meanwhile, the Council of Europe’s commissioner outlined the key demands for Russia in the negotiations.
