Krynychne in Zaporizhzhia region remains under Ukrainian control — Armed Forces of Ukraine
The settlement of Krynychne in Zaporizhzhia region remains under the control of Ukraine’s Defence Forces, and reports of its alleged capture are untrue.
This was stated during a televised broadcast by the spokesperson for Ukraine’s Southern Defence Forces, Vladyslav Voloshyn.
He stressed that reports circulating on Russian resources are false. According to him, Krynychne is located west of Sviatopetrivka and Staroukrainka, and for the enemy to advance into this area, it would need to break through Ukrainian defensive lines.
Voloshyn noted that over the past 24 hours Ukrainian forces carried out more than 20 search-and-strike and counter-sabotage operations. During these actions, enemy infiltration and assault groups attempting to penetrate deeper into the defence lines were destroyed, and counterattacks were also conducted.
He added that Ukrainian units are gradually reducing the so-called “grey zone” and acting pre-emptively to prevent the enemy from advancing further into Ukrainian territory.
Previously, the Armed Forces of Ukraine struck an occupiers’ communications hub and a drone command post.
It was also reported that occupiers in Ukraine have threatened the Kremlin over the blocking of Telegram.
