The Lviv community donated military vehicles and equipment worth 5.8 million hryvnias to the armed forces. The aid was provided as part of the “Lion’s Revenge” initiative.

“As part of the ‘Revenge of the Lion’ initiative, today, September 8, the Lviv City Council, on behalf of the community, delivered vehicles, quadcopters, a ground-based robotic system, and a generator to the front lines. Six military units received the aid, totaling 5.8 million hryvnias,” according to a statement from the city council.

Specifically, the military received four vehicles, a “Lynx PRO” ground-based robotic system, two Matrice 4E quadcopters, and a generator. The aid was distributed to mechanized and assault troops, artillery units, Special Operations Forces, and unmanned aerial vehicle units.

City officials emphasized that equipment and supplies for soldiers are purchased on an ongoing basis using funds from Lviv community taxpayers—as part of a citywide program to support the Armed Forces of Ukraine. Such deliveries take place weekly.
