The mayor of Ivano-Frankivsk urged residents to remain vigilant due to the threat of shelling

Ruslan Martsinkiv, the mayor of Ivano-Frankivsk, has urged city residents to pay close attention to air raid sirens over the next three days. He stressed the importance of not ignoring the warnings and seeking shelter immediately when the sirens sound.

This was reported with reference to his post on Telegram.

“Respond to alerts over the next three days! There is a danger!” the message reads.

“As of today, the following are equipped and ready for use during the next missile and drone attack on Ukrainian territory: one Tu-160 aircraft, four Tu-95MS aircraft, and three sea-based missile carriers. The plan is to deploy up to 40 cruise/ballistic missiles of various types. The main targets are the cities of Kyiv and Dnipro,” the statement reads.

The State Border Servicehas assessed the threat of a Russian offensive from Belarus.

In Belarus, infrastructure development and the expansion of logistical capabilities are underway, including the preparation of training grounds. According to Demchenko, the movement of Russian forces into the country will not go unnoticed.

Russia may have instructed Belarus to keep Ukrainian forces “on edge” ahead of new attacks in the east and south. This is stated by the Center for Countering Disinformation. At the same time, Ukraine is recording troop activity and the preparation of positions near the border.
