Russian attacks leave people injured in the Dnipropetrovsk region, including a child
Russian forces carried out an attack on the Dnipropetrovsk region, leaving nine people injured, including a 13-year-old girl.
The Head of the Dnipropetrovsk Regional Military Administration, Oleksandr Hancha, reported that all the injured were hospitalised, with a 57-year-old woman in a critical condition.
The attack was carried out using a drone in the Shakhtarske area of the Synelnykove district.
In addition, attacks on the Vasylkivska community caused a fire and damaged three private houses. Shelling was also recorded in the Nikopol area, where enemy artillery struck several locations, including the Marhanets community.

“As a result of a UAV attack in the Shakhtarske area of the Synelnykove district, nine people were injured, including a 13-year-old girl. All the wounded were taken to hospital. A 57-year-old woman is in a critical condition, while the others are in a moderate condition,” the statement said.
A three-storey residential building also caught fire, with its roof and floors damaged. In another apartment building, windows were shattered and a garage was set alight.
These events indicate a gradual escalation of the situation at the front, as on 9 February Russian drones also attacked the Kharkiv region, resulting in the deaths of a woman and a child.

“The aggressor also struck the Vasylkivska community with a drone. A fire broke out, and three private homes were damaged. In the Nikopol area, the Russian army used artillery and FPV drones. The district centre, as well as the Marhanets and Chervonohryhorivka communities, came under fire. No civilians were injured there,” Hancha added.
The significance of such attacks lies in the deepening humanitarian crisis and the growing impact of the war on Ukraine’s civilian population. Further actions and responses by the authorities and security services will focus on dealing with the aftermath of the attacks and protecting the population from new threats.
