In the Kuban region, the FSB detained a man on suspicion of attempting to join the Ukrainian Armed Forces

In the Krasnodar Krai of the Russian Federation, FSB officers detained a 27-year-old local resident who was attempting to leave the country. The Russian intelligence agency claims that the man allegedly planned to join a Ukrainian unit and fight against the Russian Federation’s army.

According to the intelligence services, the detainee, born in 1999, contacted a representative of a Ukrainian unit—which Russia has designated a “terrorist organization”—via Telegram. After receiving instructions, the man attempted to leave the country but was detained by security forces near a bus station.

A criminal case was opened against the detainee for “attempted treason,” and a court remanded him to a pretrial detention center.

Russian media reported this, citing the FSB.

Earlier in Luhansk, the so-called “Supreme Court” of the LPR handed down a verdict against Volodymyr Hulaivskyi, a soldier with the 24th Separate Mechanized Brigade of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
